What should i expect?
The doors will open at 10:40. You will be met outside by our stewarding team who will be wearing PPE. We will check to see if you have booked a place or have arrived hoping to be able to enter. Priority will be given to those who have signed-up for a place.
We will ask you to confirm you are symptom free and we will also check your temperature with a non-contact thermometer. You will be asked not to enter church if your temperature is above 38°C.
Please use the hand sanitiser provided on entrance and exit.
For those who have not booked a place we will need to take name and contact details for NHS Test and Trace Service.
You are asked to follow the one-way system, wear a face covering, maintain social distancing and remain seated throughout the service.
Welcome to St. Mark's!
Whilst we are open for worship on Sundays at 11:00am things are very different for us at the moment.
We are advised from the Church of England House of Bishops Recovery Group that we must adhere to Government advice and guidance concerning public gatherings.
With this in mind, and in an attempt to maintain Social Distancing we are limiting entrance to each Service to those who have pre-booked a place. People in the same household or bubbles may sit together.
If all seat sets are occupied, then the Church is full and you will respectfully be asked not to enter the Church, but to attend the next Service. Standing is only permitted for the volunteer marshals who are here to help and guide you, and those conducting the Service.
What do I wear?
Come just as you are! But we encourage you to wear a face covering. There is no dress code here at St. Mark's, just be you and wear what you feel comfortable in!
What about children and youth?
We are not currently able to run children's or youth groups in church, but there is provision on-line for both. Children and youth are of course welcome to sit with their families but they also need to have those spaces booked on-line before the service.
Please contact the office for further information.
